HUNTING

In Puerto Peñasco’s surrounding areas you can hunt various bird and mammal species.

Pinacate Biosphere Reserve and the Gran Desierto de Altar. Lies 52 km (32 mi) north of Puerto Peñasco, off Highway 8. During the hunting season, from November to March, in this region you can hunt mule deer, bighorn sheep, various aquatic bird species, doves and quail.
