In Puerto Peñasco you can enjoy the exquisite cuisine of Sonora, particularly fish and seafood dishes such as camarones costa brava (costa brava shrimp), which are shrimp wrapped with bacon and bathed in a sweet apple, honey and red wine sauce. You can also try the traditional mochomos, fried beef or veal accompanied with flour tortillas. For dessert, we recommend the famous coyotas, small flour tortillas prepared with pure cane sugar.
