The city of Aguascalientes, located in north-central Mexico, is well linked to other cities. The Pan-American Highway runs through the state in a north-south direction and Highway 70 leads to San Luis Potosi in the east and Zacatecas in the west. The city has an international airport, which lies about 15 minutes from downtown. It operates seven daily flights to Mexico City and Tijuana on national carriers Aeromexico, Aerocalifornia, Aerolitoral and Aerolineas Internacionales. There are also three daily international flights to Houston, Dallas and Los Angeles on Continental Airlines and American Airlines. By bus, you can arrive on lines Estrella Blanca, Elite, Futura and Turistar.
